Prestigious award for Italo Lupi, Ico Migliore e Mara Servetto that with "look of the city" for the Torino’s winter Olympic Games 2006 have realized the biggest and most widespread project ever carried out in an Italian city: from the outskirts to the old town a mass of tree-dimensional menhirs, big Shanghai, vases, luminous projections, have marked the main piedmontese town.
Further recommendation for the golden compass for the Exhibition design is the arrangement, "Wallpaper*express", realized by the Migliore + Servetto office for the "Wallpaper*Uk" magazine during the furniture fair that took place in Milan in 2005, where were represented the head of a new high-speed train, Bombardier, that connects Peking and Shanghai.
Both the projects will be exposed until the 19th of July in a touring international exhibition named "Space Morphing. Migliore + Servetto Temporary Architecture" adressed by the Albertina Academy’s art gallery of fine arts in Torino.
Besides the exhibition is a volume with the same name that contains texts about Ico Migliore, Mara Servetto, Italo Lupi (architect, graphic designer and editor of the magazine Abitare), Tyler Brulè (editor of the magazine Monocle), Stefano Tonchi (editor of the NYTimes’ Style Magazine), Stefano Mirti (architect and founder of Interaction Design in Ivrea).
