Over the last few years, Exhibition Design proved – in all its declinations – to add value to a company thus creating three-dimensional spaces for relation-communication, beside the traditional ones, able to represent in a new way a brand, a service, or a company image through events, trade shows and exhibitions. IDEA Master’s Degree’s fourth edition, to be started in November 2010, will face all the aspects of Exhibition Design throughout a twelve-months journey split into three training units: the first unit will be based on theory and application, focusing on providing the principal cognitive tools and the work method. The second unit will be mostly applicative with design workshops. The last unit will offer internships to enter the world of business. 80% of students actually had the chance of pursuing their professional experience in the field of exhibition design. Internships at important institutions are available, like Triennale di Milano and the MART of Rovereto, as well as at prestigious companies such as Studio Cerri & Associati, Agence Moatti et Rivière in Paris, Retail Design. IDEA has been awarded a prestigious recognition for having won the Fondazione Roma Museo contest for the design of Edward Hopper’ show outfitting, with a team made of students and tutor-teachers; this exhibition distinguishes itself for the outstanding reproduction of Hopper’s architectural works and paintings (now in Rome). Interested students are kindly requested to contact the Master’s Degree Secretariat by sending their curriculum vitae by e-mail to: direzione@ideassociazione.it.
Application term: 1st October 2010.
Selection interviews to be started in the upcoming months.
