ANNA OLEWSKA NESTER

Anna was born in Cracovia where she graduated in Engineering in 1970 at the local Polytechnic.

In 1983 together with her husband Marek Nester Piotrowski, she founds “KR STUDIO” in Milan where several Italian and Polish architects cooperate.

Experiences and researches made in the field of exhibition are important because they propose a new architectonic solution for the fairgrounds applied to the new exhibitions of Lisbona, Buenos Aires, Milan, Santiago of Chile, Tian Jin, Genoa.

Her projects have been published on “L’Arca”, “Allestire”, “Costruire”, “Esporre”, “Modo” and so on.

Her professional experience is various and is characterized by different steps that we partially remember:

1983 – 1997: International exhibition Milanovendemoda. Image, exhibition project, layout, fitting, visual communication (28 editions)
1990: Exhibition project of Baricentro with Dolmen Italy
1992: Palace for Financial Institute of Lugano. Renovation and new building part. Renovation of Moruzzo Castle, Udine (with Luca Cendali)
1993: Exhibition of the glass windows by Alina Kalczynska, Milan
1996 – 2001: New Brescia Fairground (first prize competition and realisation) with Garbari, Donadio, Montesi
1999: Milan Fairground. Project for partial recovery of the Arese Alfa Romeo factory for the insertion of the new Milan fairground (400.000 sqm net for exhibitions)
2001 – 2005: Art direction of the exhibitions: Exsa, Brescia Casa, Edilizia
2004 – 2005: Planning for finishing the new Rho/Pero Fairground
2004 – 2008: Art direction of Verona Fairground exhibitions: Marmo-Mac, Samoter, Bus and Bus
