Born in Turin in 1952 where he still lives, Massimo Venegoni graduates in architecture in 1975 at Turin Polytechnic. He has always put beside his activity as free lance in the design of fittings a didactic and search activity in the artistic field exploring some ambits such as graphics, animation movies, artistic exhibition, obtaining prizes and awards too. He is foundation partner of the Studio Architettura dell’Immagine in 1978 and in 1988 founds with Luisella Italia Studio Dedalo – Architecture & Image.
From 2000 to 2003 Venegoni has been coordinator of the Master in Exhibit Design at Turin IED.
He is foundation partner of the group Ars Lab that promotes contemporary arts and use of multimedia; of the association PAV (Parco Arte Vivente) and he is member of IDEA, Italian Association of Exhibition Designers.
He is member of the board of directors of the Gallery of Contemporary Art of Torre Pellice.
He cooperates regularly with local institutions designing several fitting projects for Turin Municipality, Turin District, Piemonte Region, Turin University, Monuments and Fine Arts Office.
Among his most significant museum works: the realization of the museographic project of Bard Fortress together with Luisella Italia; the fitting design of Palazzo Madama in Turin; the fitting design of the Modern Art Gallery in Turin; the fitting design of Varallo Picture Gallery; the fitting design of the Sabauda gallery – sector Piemontesi.
He has also recently won the competition for recovering and fitting the regional Museum of Natural Sciences in St. Pierre Castle, Aoste, together with Al Engineering society.
